A Grenadian company launches the first jam custard
 
The Herco Frut Andalusian Cooperative Society, located in Almunecar, has released the first custard jam after many tests to get, without chemical additives, prevent rapid oxidation of the pulp of this fruit grown in the region of the Costa tropical.

After several months of research, members were able to develop Frut Herco this product, which will take advantage of the ripe fruit and dedicated farmers get this crop value and improve the profitability of farms.
The marmalade is presented in different formats such small packages, family and craft-makers and hope that once the consumer has known for a warm welcome and become a reference product in the region, both for residents and visitors.

After the success of the first test of packaging, and work is being planned for next season and in the near future will begin tasting several campaigns to raise awareness of the jam to consumers both in the area as in Spain.

The coastal area known as Costa Tropical Granada is responsible for more than 80 percent of world production of cherimoya, a fruit rich in nutritive properties, and part of this production falls under the Denomination of Origin Cherimoya Tropical Coast Granada-Málaga.
